Tips To Avoid a Fatal Motorcycle Crash

Motorcycle Accident Lawyer

Motorcycle Accident LawyerMotorcyles offer people an exciting method of transportation that allows them to take in the surrounding views. But riding a zippy, two-wheeled motor vehicle that has no outer shield protection makes riders vulnerable to sustaining the most severe and potentially life-threatening injuries. To help avoid being in a fatal motorcycle accident, here are a few tips to consider before going back on the road:

Wear safety gear always.

Motorcyclists should consistently wear a proper fitting helmet, protective clothing, and gloves. If some of the safety gear is annoying to wear, remember that it could save your life. If the gear isn’t the right size for you, then it may not offer the protection in the moments you need it the most.

Take motorcycle classes.

Riding a motorcycle is not as simple as it may appear, so new riders must get enough training in an environment that is safe and guided by qualified teachers. From this education you can learn about how to gear up, choose the bike for you, brake, turn, clutch and throttle, and more.

Increase your visibility.

Make sure other drivers can easily see you by using reflective clothing and headlights when riding at night. Never assume that a driver sees you and be sure to drive cautiously before changing lanes, turning into an intersection, or performing other maneuvers.

Be alert to changing weather.

If the weather predicts snow, sleet, or rain, it may be better to avoid riding during those days if at all possible. When the weather is rainy, use extra caution and allow more space between you and others for braking.

As a motorcycle accident lawyer from Martin Wren, P.C. can attest to seeing, motorcyclists are usually those suffering from the worst injuries and extent of property damage because of an accident. By taking the above tips into consideration, it may one day save your life.

Client Testimonials

As a disabled claimant, I can’t thank Hurwitz, Whitcher & Molloy enough for guiding me through these past fourteen years. No one else wanted my Workers’ Compensation case. No one! It was complicated. There were a lot of issues that made things difficult. They stuck with it well over a decade with preparedness, intelligence and grace. Mister Melvyn, he’s a good guy. Cathy, she’s so amazing.

- Salli B.

I became a client of the Hurwitz firm in May of 1997 due to injuries I received while I was a meat cutter at I. Isenberg Meats in Buffalo, New York. Since my first encounter with your firm and up until the present day, I have been entirely satisfied with the way your firm has treated me.
